Mr. Garnett-Deakin has over twelve years of experience in object oriented user interface design and programming, Lotus Notes/Domino application development and system integration, data visualization and data management. He is a Certified Lotus Principal in Lotus Notes/Domino Application Development. He has built Internet based solutions for complex financial data using Cognos PowerPlay OLAP tools. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, technical writing from George Mason University, and has over twelve years experience in technical writing and editing for training, client reports, the Internet, electronic publishing and commercial software. Mr. Garnett-Deakin is Vice President and Principal of X.Systems' Business Solutions practice, which specializes in collaborative workspaces for Federal Government clients. These systems include web based document management, collaborative applications and instant messaging for the Chief of Naval Operations, Department of Navy Chief Information Officer, Secretary of the Navy International Program Office and Office of Naval Research; collaborative and self service extranet sites for all US Navy flag officers and senior executive service members; and complex web based project tracking tools for GSA Public Building Service.
