David Hodson
CTO
MessageCast, Inc.

Before co-founding MessageCast, Inc., Hodson, 35, was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at iPrint Technologies (Nasdaq: IPRT). Hodson was responsible for architecting one of the most robust, scalable, and awarded e-commerce websites on the Internet. iPrint.com was on PC Data Online's Top 20 list of e-tailers for over a year, boasting Top 10 finishes almost half of the time. Hodson is a pioneer in the use of XML and created the first Web service for the printing industry.

Previous to iPrint, Hodson served as a senior technologist in the Electronic Direct division for Deluxe Corporation, leading product development for the award-winning World's Easiest¨ family of products. Hodson was instrumental in the development of a print electronic ordering system installed nationwide throughout the Staples office supply superstore chain. This was the first successful in-store kiosk effort of its kind to connect brick & mortar print shops to a professional backend commercial printer.

Prior to Deluxe, Hodson served as one of the key Electronic Commerce developers at Visa International. He was also a member of the team that created standards and delivered essential components of Visa's electronic commerce infrastructure.

Hodson earned his BS in Management Information Systems and his MBA from California State University, Chico (1990 and 1992).
