Peter Shaw

Peter Shaw is a veteran CEO with experience in the graphics, personal
computer, UNIX, Internet (software, hardware and systems) and enterprise
software industries. Mr. Shaw is also experienced in the fields of mergers &
acquisitions and venture capital financing, and has led several successful
turnaround situations.
Prior to his work with Akonix, Mr. Shaw founded and served as CEO of Megatek
and AGE Logic, and later served as CEO of Sitematic. All three companies
were successfully acquired, and Mr. Shaw served as Senior Vice President of
International Sales and Support for NetObjects after that company acquired
Sitematic. Mr. Shaw also has served as a Venture Partner for San Diego-based
Windward Ventures, and as a senior advisor for Venture Catalyst, also in San
Diego.
Mr. Shaw holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York,
and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
