Ted Crooks
Vice President
ID Fraud Solutions
Fair Isaac Corporation

Ted Crooks is Vice President, Product Management at Fair Isaac Corporation, and is responsible for ID Protection solutions and Enterprise Fraud Solutions. Ted joined Fair Isaac in 2003, but is a veteran of HNC Software, which was acquired by Fair Isaac in 2002. Prior to joining Fair Isaac, Ted co-founded and led Burning Glass, which developed natural language processing systems for employment.

Ted is a pioneer in fraud detection solutions through his prior 10-year tenure with HNC Software. As a member of the early Falcon team introducing what is now the industry standard for payment card fraud detection, he helped establish the modern method of defining, building and introducing real-time artificial intelligence business systems. Ted also created many other risk and fraud management solutions for the financial services, automotive, and telecommunications industries.

Prior to joining HNC, Ted created and managed national consumer advertising campaigns, designed software for nuclear power safety systems, lithotripters, robotic vending machines and hospitals, wrote three internationally distributed technical books and, as a Realtor and mortgage banker, appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and CBS Evening News.
