Guy S. Tallent provides consultation to various organizations, including the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), where he leads the development of the Secure Access for Everyone (SAFE) Standard.
Guy is the former president and CEO of Identrus, where he was responsible for driving the company's success toward its goal of fostering business-to-business e-commerce over the Internet. Prior to accepting the post in 1999, Tallent served for a year as chairman of the steering committee that created the organization. At the same time, he was senior vice president and electronic commerce strategy executive for The Chase Manhattan Bank, responsible for developing electronic commerce strategy, thought leadership and communications across lines of business at Chase. He was also active in developing Chase's electronic bill presentment and digital certificate strategies.
