Jeffery Carlson
Chief Operations Officer

Jeff is responsible for the success of operations and sales coordination for G2 Telecom. He takes the leadership role in enhancing the sales market channel, and is active in conducting contract negotiations and the development of proposals. Jeff co-founded G2 after most recently holding the position of Regional Director/Vice President for Global Crossing's West Coast ISP Sales organization.
Prior to his position at Global Crossing, Jeff distinguished himself as Sales Director for BellSouth Long Distance, the first Regional Bell Operating Company to develop and execute a nationwide long distance program. Jeff was a key industry sales person in the specific segment of Wholesale Telecommunications. The Wholesale market channel provided for executive-level contract negotiations with other Interexchange Carriers and required the management of multi-million dollar accounts. His sales career was further enhanced by his years as a National Account Manager with Sprint Wholesale Services Group. Jeff was the youngest National Account Manager with Sprint, and he finished each year ranked in the top eight, winning President's Club over his peers in this elite sales role.
Jeff's career in telecommunications began with key roles as a Financial Analyst with Sprint, conducting National Account contract negotiations for the Business Sales Group market channel. He was lead contract negotiator for the highly competitive New York Region and developed multi-million dollar contracts with all major NYC-headquartered companies. Jeff joined Sprint after serving as an Air Defense Artillery Officer in the United States Army. He held various leadership positions with combat units, leading soldiers into Iraq during the first days of the Gulf War.
Jeff graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
