Hank Marquis is vice present, marketing for Opticom, Inc., where he is responsible for marketing-related initiatives, as well as helping the company to meet its overall business goals and objectives. Prior to Opticom, he was the co-founder of Celexis, an ASP/ISP, offering digital rights management services to enterprise software companies. Previously, Mr. Marquis founded Marquis Computing, Inc., an ISV specializing in automated software quality. He sold Marquis Computing to NuMega Technologies in 1996, which was in turn acquired by Compuware (Nasdaq: CPWR) in 1997. Prior to Marquis Computing, Mr. Marquis held the positions of technical director and vice president of quality control for American Institute, a high-technology training and consulting firm. He has also held positions in systems engineering and software development for MCI, US Sprint, AscomTimeplex, Network Equipment Technologies and Primary Access among others. Mr. Marquis is well known to the Windows software development community and is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences. He is also co-author of the "Visual Basic 6.0 Bible" as well as the "Visual Basic Programmers Toolkit" and has received numerous awards and commendations over the years.
