Jim Brooks has been in the IT business for over 28 years, in Applications Development, Operations and Consulting. Jim works in the Shared Services Division of Assurant, Inc, where 90% of the Shared Services Division is ITIL foundation certified or better.
In the past 3 years, Jim has led a Service Management initiative at Assurant Shared Services to define, develop and deliver Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Release and Service Desk to Assurant. He is now leading an internal Planning and Consulting team that will help define and deliver the next generation of Service Management to Assurant, including Service Level Management, Request Processing, Capacity, Performance and Availability Management.
