Four Key Challenges in an ITIL® Implementation and How To Address Them
This workshop is based on the facilitator's experience directing the State of NC's Operational Excellence Program, which includes the implementation of Incident Management, Change Management, Service Level Management and Problem Management.
In this interactive workshop, the facilitator will present four challenges he has experienced directing his organization's ITIL® implementation. The four selected challenges are: (1) obtaining and sustaining stakeholder buy-in at all levels, (2) obtaining the needed staff resources for implementation, (3) training and staff development issues, (4) coordinating implementation of multiple processes.
For each challenge, the facilitator will have participants break into small groups to develop 3-5 mitigation strategies. The facilitator will then present his organization's real-world experience, including what worked as well as lessons learned. This will then be followed by input from small groups and discussion. Speaker: Joe Lithgo, Chief Operating Officer, State of NC Office of IT Services This class is full.
