Sharqat Azim leads the global IT Process competency with Gartner Consulting. He is ITIL^® certified and brings over 20 years of IT experience to the firm including international business management experience in Southeast Asia and Europe. He is well versed in IT strategy development with a focus on process architecture and measurement systems design. Prior to joining Gartner, he was responsible for the $1B services arm of a fortune 500 IT Service provider where he helped develop many strategic IT offerings such as IT/business strategy alignment, performance measurement and metrics development and transformational outsourcing.
