Kathryn Rupchock Pizzo
Operations Training Manager
Microsoft

Kathryn is currently the operations training manager for Microsoft’s central training division responsible for training product group employees, focused on developing the curriculum and training for developers, testers, program managers, and operations personnel in the process and technology of IT service operations. She has been with Microsoft 12 years, after attending the University of Michigan. Experiences at Microsoft have included large scale IT systems implementations and support, internet/intranet service development, and e-commerce and infrastructure project deployments. She recently spent two plus years with MCS (Microsoft Consulting Services) creating the Microsoft Operations Framework, and in doing so, working with the ITIL community in reviewing several version 2.0 ITIL books, and co-authoring the Preparing To Implement Service Management ITIL book.
