Mr. Marquis has over 18 years of technology and development experience. As Opticom Inc. CTO he is responsible for defining the strategic direction for all products developed by Opticom.
Prior to Opticom, Marquis was co-founder and CTO of Celexis Inc., a digital rights management ASP. Marquis also founded Marquis Computing, Inc., an ISV specializing in automated software quality, later acquired by Compuware. Previously he held titles of Technical Director, Vice President of Quality Control and has held positions in systems engineering or software development for MCI, US Sprint, Ascom Timeplex, Network Equipment Technologies, Primary Access and others. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and a prolific author of books and articles on software and technology.
