As one of the founders of MacKAY Management USA, Dave draws on years of operational experience when consulting or teaching IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices to his company’s clients. As an ITSM product director and executive management consultant for a Managed Service Provider (MSP), he developed the ITIL® certification courses for both classroom and Web-based training. His team received the itSMF 2001 Innovative Product of the Year award, for “ITSM Best Practices Online,” a web-based ITIL® Foundations course. He also has written “The itSM Primer,” an ITSM study guide. His years of practical experience in IT Service Management have enabled him to help several companies achieve business and IT alignment, operational excellence and demonstrate IT service value.
