Nate Elliott is an Associate Analyst for Jupiter Research, covering online advertising, marketing and branding, and consumer packaged goods. His expertise includes rich and streaming media, new ad units, sponsorships, and adserving technology.
Elliott has been cited widely in the online advertising trade press, including AdWeek, CNN.com, and ClickZ. He has also been a frequent speaker at industry events such as Ad:Tech and the IAB Professional Development Series.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Elliott worked at DoubleClick, the leading online advertising technology company. As DoubleClick's Senior Manager for Rich Media, he founded and co-chaired the IAB Rich Media Task Force, the group that set the first industry standards for rich media advertising. Previously, Elliott managed the DoubleClick Studio design team, creating online sponsorship and rich media ads for companies such as AT&T, Kraft, General Motors and IBM. He has also worked for Macromedia, working to establish the Macromedia Flash Advertising Alliance and creating industry standards for tracking clickthroughs and other interactions in Flash ads.
Elliott earned his BS in Communications from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He lives in Brooklyn.
