Jeff Bell was appointed Vice President - Jeep® Marketing for the Chrysler Group on June 20, 2002. Prior to this position, he was responsible for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge advertising, merchandising, auto shows and consumer events, interactive communications and licensing. He is credited with raising the level of consumer awareness of all three vehicle brands through marketing campaigns and programs that broke through the advertising clutter. Under Bell's stewardship, the Dodge and Chrysler brands last year announced new theme lines and new ad campaigns. One of the highlights for the Jeep brand (in addition to a new ad campaign) was its support of "Band of Brothers," a 10-week series on HBO. "Band of Brothers" told the story of Easy Company, the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. In his new position, Bell assumes all marketing responsibility for the Jeep brand.
Bell joined the Chrysler Group from Ford Motor Company in May 2001 as Vice President - Marketing Communications.
