Avi Naider has been CEO of WhenU since the company's inception in early
2000. He has led its growth from start-up to its current position as a leader in contextual marketing. WhenU has created a leading desktop advertising network (DAN) that now reaches more than 25 million consumers, providing them with timely, highly relevant offers on their desktop, delivered right when they're most ready to buy.
The WhenU desktop advertising network (DAN) drives consumer response by
combining one of the largest Internet audience networks with precision
targeting technology. The audience is regularly included in the weekly ranking
of the Nielsen//NetRatings Top Web sites.
Through the company's partnerships with popular software distributors, the WhenU DAN enables consumers to receive valuable software for free by
agreeing to see occasional highly relevant, highly targeted ads instead of paying a fee, and without compromising their privacy.
Previously, Avi worked at AEA Investors Inc., a private equity fund whose participants are current and former Fortune 100 CEOs. At AEA, he led several acquisitions and advised management of portfolio companies in the consumer goods industry, such as mapmaker Rand McNally. Before his tenure at AEA, Avi was a strategy consultant in the New York office of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised Fortune 500 clients in the retail, consumer packaged goods, information technology and healthcare industries.
Avi graduated from Princeton University, with a BA from the Woodrow
Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
