A veteran of many content management systems, Mr. Beaton has functioned as
programmer, architect, project lead, and technical liaison on a dozen such
implementations. He co-founded and served as Chief Technical Officer of
HipGuide, a print, web and email lifestyle/city guide that does affinity
marketing for companies such as Kenneth Cole, Revlon, Armani, and Nautica.
As the Director of Technology and Content Management Systems at WGBH, Mr.
Beaton oversaw the evolution of an enterprise system that encompasses assets
in internet, television, and radio. WGBH is New England's largest public
broadcaster and also independently creates 30% of the national programming
for PBS.
Mr. Beaton received his Bachelor of Science from Yale University in
Psychobiology. He recently logged out of his last content management system
to pursue a Masters of Business Administration full-time at the NYU Stern
School of Business.
