Mr. DeWeese has almost twenty years of experience in information technology
field. He has focused on managing application development and systems
integration of large scale, complex web sites for Federal Headquarters
Offices. By continuously focusing on business goals and processes rather
than technology, Mr. DeWeese and his team have experienced an extremely
high success rate for IT solutions. Throughout his employment Mr. DeWeese
has introduced emerging technologies such as Office Automation to Sallie
Mae Senior Executives in 1985, Internet technologies to BDM International
in 1988 and the first web site in OPNAV in April 1994. Mr. DeWeese has
employed a nine step structured methodology into the Federal Services
divisions to ensure X.Systems' solutions are business focused and continue
that high rate of success.
Mr. DeWeese graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and
Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has taken
several post-graduate classes from University of Southern California,
University of Virginia and Virginia Polytech.
Mr. DeWeese is Vice President and Principal of X.Systems' Federal Services
division, which specializes in collaborative workspaces for Federal
Government clients. These systems include web based document management and
knowledge management for the Chief of Naval Operations, Department of Navy
Chief Information Officer, Secretary of the Navy International Program
Office and Office of Naval Research. Collaborative and self-service
extranet sites have been deployed for all US Navy flag officers and senior
executive service members. A complex web based project tracking tools was
created for GSA Public Building Service. Most recently Mr. DeWeese and his
team have introduced a collaborative web site for the Executive Office of
the President.
Mr. DeWeese has continued his career of introducing emerging information
technology as the primary member of the OPNAV Skunkworks team. The OPNAV
Skunkworks team has introduced to Navy Headquarters' staff the HQWeb suite
of tools, the first OPNAV Portal, wireless PDA technology and fill-able PDF
Forms. Mr. DeWeese holds a secret level security clearance.
