Dr. Yong Chen is a Senior Scientist in the Quantum Science Research group at
Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science
from U. C. Berkeley in 1996, and joined HP labs in the same year. He was
recognized with the Graduate Student Award from MRS in 1995, and the Ross
Tucker Award from TMS/IEEE in 1996. At HP labs, he has worked on GaN
materials and the fabrication of blue/UV lasers (1996-1998), and currently
he is leading the team to work on the fabrication and testing of the
nanoscale moletronic devices and circuits.
