Harris co-founded InMat, in October 1999, and continues to lead the company. After negotiating the purchase of all the equipment and technology from DuPont, he successfully found external funding while forming and managing relationships with several large customers. Harris has over twenty years of experience (primarily in the Summit Technical Center of Hoechst Celanese) in developing new materials. He has successfully worked on all aspects of new business development, from concept to commercialization, and has numerous patents and publications in diverse areas including carbon fibers, optical recording and non-linear optics.
