Ed joined OD2 as a board director in Spring 2000 with responsibility for all Sales, Marketing & Label Relations activities. Since that Edward has managed a team signing licenses with all 5 major labels and has launched “pay as you go” and “subscription” digital music shops for leading European brands including, MSN, British Telecom, Wanadoo, HMV, MTV, Tiscali and fnac. Ed also launched the “Digital Download Day” campaigns that have raised awareness across Europe on the availability of legal download services and has been a regular contributor to press, radio and TV debate on the development of a viable online music market. Before joining OD2, Ed was European Sales & Marketing Director of Castle Music, now part of the Sanctuary Group plc. Prior to this he was director of sales at BMG UK, and previously held various positions in Brand Marketing and Sales Management at Procter & Gamble.
