Chris Gorog
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Roxio, Inc.

Chris Gorog joined Roxio in September 2000 as the company's first President and Chief Executive Officer and became Chairman in September 2001.

Gorog led the company's successful spin-off from Adaptec. Inc. and took the company public in May of 2001 (NASDAQ: "ROXI"). Since then Gorog's leadership of Roxio has resulted in the creation of the Roxio consumer brand, broadening the company's role in digital media to include photo and video with the acquisition of MGI Software, developing Roxio's strategic product road-map with the introduction of the Digital Media Suite and leading the acquisition of Napster, the game-changing on-line music service.

Prior to joining Roxio, Gorog spent twenty-two years in the entertainment industry, most recently at Universal Studios. As President of New Business Development for the company's Recreation Group, he initiated and led the execution of its strategic plan for global expansion. Gorog also managed the team responsible for new product development, as well as creating the division's international market entry strategies. His accomplishments at Universal include leading the acquisition of "Port Aventura", Universal's resort property in Spain, and supervising the development of more than one billion dollars in planned expansion which included Universal's location-based entertainment "City Walk" developments.

Before joining Universal, Gorog served for six years as President and Chief Executive officer of the worldwide motion picture and television production company ITC Entertainment Group. Highlights of his career at ITC include assembling the management buy-out of the company and leading ITC to the number-one position in the production of network television movies and mini-series.

Prior to ITC, Gorog was Vice President of Business Affairs for The Walt Disney Company. In that role, he oversaw deal-making for both the film and television divisions and was significantly involved in the creation of The Disney Channel.

Most recently, Gorog participated in the acquisition of Universal's concert division by House of Blues Entertainment. Gorog is a director of House of Blues, a leading North American concert producer and owner of HOB.com, the largest live music site on the Internet.

Gorog received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Telecommunications from San Diego State University. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
