Andrew Rasiej
Co-Founder and Chairman
DCN

Currently the President, CEO and co-founder of DCN (the Digital Club Network) which is the Internet’s largest live music channel. DCN streams concerts of established and emerging artists live in real time from premier venues around the world and makes archive recordings of these performances available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DCN is already the largest webcaster of live events in the world presenting over 100 new concerts weekly.

Mr. Rasiej is the Founder and President of MOUSE (Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools and Education). MOUSE was formed by enlisting technology professionals from New York City’s Silicon Alley to volunteer their time and expertise in helping to integrate technology into public schools. MOUSE now serves as a model organization for delivering technology to students and teachers. Mr. Rasiej serves on the New York City Board of Education’s task force on technology and has spearheaded several innovative projects that support efforts to bridge the “Digital Divide” in public education.

In addition to DCN and MOUSE, Mr. Rasiej is also the co-founder of the "Plug In" conference, which is produced annually in conjunction with Jupiter Communications. The conference, now in its fifth year, has become the preeminent gathering of the music and technology elite focusing attention on the ways that music will be produced and distributed digitally.

Prior to these endeavors, Andrew founded New York City’s Irving Plaza, which he built into one of the top internationally known concert showcase venues before selling it to SFX Entertainment in 1997.

Mr. Rasiej received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and is a graduate of the David Rockefeller Fellowship program.
