Eric Weisman is President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Entertainment Corp., a leading provider of business-to-business infrastructure services which are essential to transact commerce in the home entertainment product marketplace. His wide-ranging experience and accomplishments in finance, marketing, management and new technology, have proven crucial to Weisman’s role in transforming Alliance into a leading force in entertainment-oriented electronic commerce.

Under Weisman’s stewardship, Alliance Entertainment has continued to expand its core business through product diversification while building its customer base in Internet fulfillment services and e-commerce enabling technologies. Through the purchase of Digital On-Demand in 1999, Weisman transformed Alliance Entertainment into a leading distributor of digital entertainment content into retail environments. Since joining Alliance in 1994, Weisman has served in various executive capacities including being named as Chief Operating Officer in June, 1997 and subsequently appointed as President and CEO of the company in January, 1998.

Weisman, a 15 year marketing and entertainment executive, began his career in 1985 at Premier Artists Services, a management company and talent agency, where he helped launch pioneering entertainment marketing projects pairing the power of entertainment personalities with corporate marketing partners such as AT&T, The Coca-Cola Co., Procter and Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. He worked closely with clients such as Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Sammy Davis Jr., Don Rickles and Julio Iglesias.
