Dennis Mudd, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Musicmatch, is a technology and digital entertainment industry veteran, with roots in defining the digital music revolution that began in the late 1990s. Mudd designed the industry's first digital music jukebox and also the first successful music subscription service, introduced in the spring of 2001.

The company has more than 55 million registered copies of Musicmatch® Jukebox and is considered the gold standard in music software. In fact, it's been the best selling music software at retail for five years in a row. The Musicmatch Radio network, launched in 2000, now features the world's most popular Internet radio station, Artist MATCH(tm) Radio.

Prior to co-founding Musicmatch, Mudd spent 10 years with Hewlett Packard in Barcelona, Spain and Vancouver, Washington where he was the product marketing manager for various printer divisions and the North American region manager for HP's consumer printer and scanner businesses. Before HP, Mudd worked in the Verbatim division of Eastman Kodak, where he was responsible for the definition of new magnetic media products.

Mudd received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School and his B.S. in Business with Honors from UC Berkeley. Mudd lives in San Diego with his wife and three young boys and is an avid athlete and soccer coach in his free time.
