Thomas Dominikowski (38) is Product Manager at Lycos Europe. He is in charge of the search products of the company on the European level, especially the web search engines Lycos, HotBot, and Fireball. After his degree in communication science he worked as a journalist (Reuters) and founded a publishing company. Since 1994 the internet is the main focus of his activities: he was founder and managing director of the internet agency "agenda media", before he later built up the internet department of "Prosoz", a leading company in the German municipal software market. He worked furthermore at the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education, where he was in charge of PR and especially the online strategy of the ministry, before he joined Lycos Europe in 2000.
