Ron Verheijen is business development manager of Web Search at Inktomi Corporation. Verheijen's main responsibility is to develop strategic partnerships for Inktomi Web Search in Europe and the Far East. He comes to Inktomi with extensive academic and business development experience. Previously, Verheijen held positions as an Associate Professor of Linguistics at University of Leiden, the Netherlands as well as management positions at Digital Equipment and Alta Vista Europe.

Verheijen holds two doctoral degrees, the first in English and the second in Linguistics, both from University of Leiden, in the Netherlands.
