| Paul Duffy is the founder and CEO of Callserve Communications, Europe’s first and leading IP telephony provider enabling consumers to make phone calls over the Internet. He has grown Callserve over 6000% since December 2000 at a time when most telecommunication and IT companies have been making mass redundancies and profit warnings, through his back to basics business practices. He has secured investment from high-profile investors such as TH Lee Puttnam, Cazenove and Jupiter Asset Management and has set up partnerships with Microsoft, Packard Bell, Sony and Freeserve. Paul Duffy has over 20 years experience in the computing and telecommunications industry. He is an expert on the integration of voice over IP. He has worked with one of the biggest IBM resellers specialising in high tech banking and trading environments to deliver integrated solutions. In 1994 he entered the consultancy business as an independent consultant and over the following years worked with clients such as National Westminster Bank, British Gas, Shell, Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse to implement large trading room and dealing environments before founding Callserve in March 1999.
