| Ron Lott is Market Segment Manager for IP Communications at Sun Microsystems. In that role he builds market and whole product strategies for the IP Communications industry. This includes partner outreach, marketing programs, and product consulting. He has been with Sun for 5 years, previously responsible for Telecommunications Industry Marketing then product marketing for Sun's first CompactPCI motherboard followed by the MAJC microprocessor. Before Sun, he worked for 10 years at Nortel Networks, first as a hardware engineer for the DMS-100, then in marketing for Nortel's desktop videoconferencing and multimedia kiosk products. Ron has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada). |
