| Jae Roh leads the voice solutions team at the Plum Group, a provider of VoiceXML based IVR platforms, solutions, and hosting. At the Plum Group, Jae has led the development of VoiceXML solutions in health care, finance, and energy. In addition to architecting and designing client voice solutions, he is also responsible for ensuring VoiceXML standards compliance for the Plum Voice Platform. Prior to joining Plum, Jae was Vice President of technology at iconomy.com, an e-commerce service provider. Jae's core technical expertise is software development, with an emphasis on product design and user interface design. In industry and in academia, he has built new technology tools and studied how users adapt to the technology tools they use. He has also designed and developed graphics and plotting tools for MATLAB at the MathWorks and developed novel systems for teaching and learning at Xerox PARC and the MIT Media Lab. Jae received a B.S. in Physics, B.S/M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering, and an M.S. in Technology and Policy, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Jae joined The Plum Group in November 2000. |
