| As the senior member of VoiceArchitects and our dialog design expert, clients depend upon Keith’s VUI expertise gained through the design of more than 20 speech interfaces. Keith was one of Nuance’s first technical hires, and was instrumental in developing Nuance’s leadership in the telecom sector, with applications for companies such as Motorola, Webley, Telia, and Tellme. Involved in many aspects of speech technology, Keith worked on Nuance’s phonetic search engine and grammar compiler, Swedish, Japanese, Cantonese, and Australian English applications, the Australian TAB’s wagering application, and portal applications for Tellme. Prior to VoiceArchitects, Keith headed one of the industry’s first VUI design firms, SpeechStr, where he did work for clients West, Call Interactive, VeCommerce, BeVocal and others. Keith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz. |
