Steve Harmsen, Vice President of Corporate Development, joined STSN in 2001 and leads the company's corporate and business development activities. In this role, Mr. Harmsen is responsible for identifying and negotiating bi-lateral and uni-lateral roaming partnerships with large customer and subscriber owners as well as extending STSN's footprint through agreements with other public space Wi-Fi infrastructure providers. In addition, Mr. Harmsen leads all corporate merger and acquisition initiatives. Under Mr. Harmsen's leadership, STSN has grown to become the number one global provider of secure broadband services to the hospitality industry. Currently, STSN technology is installed in more than 900 hotels worldwide, operating within 225,000 guest rooms and conference rooms and 500 wireless hotspots; STSN securely connects more than 500,000 business travelers every month. Prior to STSN, Mr. Harmsen oversaw strategic development for Reel.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hollywood Entertainment, where he was responsible for business development, corporate strategy and strategic partnerships. Mr. Harmsen was also a corporate finance investment banker with Montgomery Securities (now Banc of America Securities).
