Derek Kerton is a wireless telecommunications expert internationally recognized in widely distributed wireless industry reports, articles, newsletters, and frequently quoted in established media outlets including New York Times, Investor's Business Daily, Wired Magazine, UnStrung, Broadband Wireless Business, Miami Herald and Fierce Wireless. Mr. Kerton has managed the development of products for multiple wireless technologies, designed business development strategy for wireless carriers, and managed content and application implementation projects- including 7 of the Internet's top 100 websites, multinational wireless carriers, and device manufacturers - across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He is the Wireless Editor for TechDirt and a contributing author to the recent book "Going Mobile" from CMP Media. Before consulting, Mr. Kerton built the wireless division of the Disney Internet Group and worked for the JavaSoft division of Sun Microsystems. He speaks French, Spanish, and English, sits on the Steering Committee of Telephia and has an MBA from Cornell University.
