John Piercy has a successful track record in senior operating
roles in communications and technology companies, as well as
entrepreneurial and early stage private equity investing.
Prior to joining BCE Capital, John was the President and CEO of OnSite
Access - Canada, a provider of broadband telecommunication services to
small-to-medium enterprise customers. Before OnSite Access Canada, John
was the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for The Becker Group
of Companies, a seed venture capital firm with offices in Toronto and
Denver. John also previously served as the Vice President of Marketing
of Leitch Technology Corporation (TSE:LTV) and Vice President of
Marketing for AT&T Canada.
John Piercy received a BSc. (Honours) in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Toronto in 1983 and a MSc. in Management Sciences from the
University of Waterloo in 1990. John is a member of the Professional
Engineers of Ontario.
He has been with BCE Capital since 2002.
