Pierre Trudeau is an experienced R&D leader with 18+ years of
software development experience. Trudeau founded Colubris in 2000 with a
team of industry-recognized software and security technologists.
Building from this core, the efforts of the Colubris technology team
have enabled the highly-efficient processing and packaging of a
portfolio of strong security tools in a small-form-factor wireless LAN
access point. Adhering to the mantra that "centralized security is an
oxymoron", Trudeau and his team have developed a set of highly secure
wireless LAN solutions that can be deployed at the enterprise edge with
superior confidence and low levels of management complexity. Trudeau
also successfully steered the company as President through its initial
growth stage.
Immediately prior to founding Colubris, Trudeau was the Vice President
of Research & Development at TouchTunes Digital Jukebox, a provider of
secure digital music distribution technology. Prior to that, he was the
Director, Advanced Communications Division of Eicon Technology
Corporation, a worldwide provider of secure connectivity products for
the ISDN, ADSL, VPN and X.25 markets.
Trudeau began his career in LAN protocol software development with
Videoway and Philips Information Systems. He holds a M.Sc. and B.Sc. in
Computer Science from Sherbrooke University.
