Dr. Jim S. Wight
Principal Architect
IceFyre Semiconductor

Dr. Jim S. Wight functions in the role of principal architect for IceFyre Semiconductor Corp. Dr. Wight has over 30 years of experience in research and development in the wireless and satellite industry. He is an authority on phase-lock circuits, radio frequency and millimeter-wave integrated circuits, embedded antennas, and frequency hopped and Code Division Multiple Access systems. Dr. Wight has worked extensively with the Canadian government research labs, and has held senior technical positions at Cal Corporation (now EMS Technologies), Vistar, Philsar Semiconductor, and Conexant Systems Inc.

Dr. Wight has a doctorate in electronics and has held a faculty position at Carleton University for 27 years.
