As the chief technology officer for Computer Associates, Yogesh Gupta is responsible for defining the strategy and technology direction of CA's products. He drives the technology roadmaps working closely with CA's business units, manages the common technology stack for all CA products and runs the emerging technologies unit.
Yogesh has over 20 years of experience in product development, marketing, strategy and planning in the software industry.
Previously, Gupta served as senior vice president of CA's eBusiness strategy and was instrumental in the successful evolution of CA as the world's leading of provider of eBusiness management solutions.
Yogesh joined CA in 1989 upon its acquisition of Cullinet Software, Inc. and has held a variety of senior management positions in development, marketing and planning. He was responsible for the launch and marketing of Unicenter, CA's award-winning family of enterprise infrastructure management solutions. Prior to Cullinet, he developed distributed database products at a start-up technology firm and at Burroughs Corporation.
Gupta holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin.
