John Binks is a dedicated professional instructor. John has more than 20 years of diversified experience working in technology, specializing in Public Sector mobile/wireless products and applications. He has owned
several small business including computer and Internet based Corporations. John has worked for Federal and County Governments, as well as the private sector, and brings a great deal of practical experience to the classroom. John has traveled across the nation providing technical implementation and training, as well as end user training to well over 30 Law Enforcement agencies in the implementation of mobile product solutions. He has lectured at National conventions, and has instructed training classes at many top teaching facilities and Universities, as well as private and Government organizations.
John is a Technology Contributor for USAToday, and has had technology columns in other publications. As a Major Case Sex Crimes Detective for the Orange County Sheriff's Office, John has developed and presented investigations curriculum to multiple Law Enforcement Agencies. John is certified by the State of Florida as an Instructor. John has received many awards and accolades for his work including special recognition from Microsoft, and has received national media exposure for his work.
John received his degree in Business Administration and has many professional certifications including Microsoft Systems Builder Certified, Network+ Certified, i-Net+ Certified, and Master Certified Internet
Webmaster Certified. John is active in many professional organizations including The Association of Internet Professionals, The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, The Internet Society, The Internet Engineering Task Force, and The International Webmasters Association. John is currently the Manager of the CapWIN (Capital Wireless Integrated Network) Training Center in the Washington Metropolitan Region, where he provides multiple mobile data computer courses to Law Enforcement, Fire, Medical, and Transportation professionals in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
