T.K. Rengarajan ("Ranga") has been building world-class software teams and technologies for over 16 years. Ranga was most recently VP of Engineering at Probix, responsible for software development and managed service operations for the world's first clientless enterprise post-delivery content protection products.
Prior to Probix, Ranga was CTO and VP of R&D at Slam Dunk Networks, where he led the development of the world's first Electronic Trading Network for business transactions over the Internet. Ranga also contributed as Director of database server technology for Sybase, Inc. where he drove the development of several high quality releases of Sybase's database server focusing on multi-processor scaling, parallel query, row-level locking, and very large memory.
Ranga set the world record in transaction processing with Oracle Rdb product in the TPC-A benchmark and was elected among the youngest ever Distinguished (Consulting) Engineers at Digital Equipment Corporation. He also has a number of patents and publications to his credit. Ranga has an MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MS in Computer Aided Design from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, India.
