Rotondo has over 10 years experience in telecom and data communications. Prior to joining MeshNetworks, Rick was AVP of Marketing Operations for Lucent Technologies' Open Network Solutions group. Rick managed a team whose focus was on creating partnerships with companies who developed applications on Lucent's open platforms. Rick joined Lucent when the company acquired Excel Switching Corporation in 1999. At Excel, he served as Director of Wireless Marketing, providing direct marketing and sales support targeted at wireless infrastructure and wireless intelligent networking developers. Prior to Excel, Rick held several positions at Nortel, Inc., including Manager of Cellular PCS Marketing. He is a frequent speaker at industry events.
