Bill Simmelink
General Manager, VoIP Business Unit
Texas Instruments Inc.

Bill Simmelink has been the General Manager of Texas Instruments' Voice over Packet business unit since 1999. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Business Development for Telogy Networks, which was acquired by TI in 1999. He previously served as Vice President, Sales, since joining Telogy in 1993.

Simmelink worked for 12 years at Hughes Network Systems, ultimately serving as Assistant Vice President with responsibility for sales in the Asia-Pacific region, and business management in the International Business Satellite Group. He was also manager of pre-sales technical support at AT&T.

Simmelink received a bachelor's degree of science in mathematics from Purdue University.
