Anderson is responsible for R&D activities at Quiconnect. As Director of Technology Development, he manages the development roadmap and helps determine long-term technical strategy.
Before joining Quiconnect, Anderson led research efforts in wireless sensor networks at Sun Microsystems, exploring architectures, strategies, and business models for future embedded wireless systems products. He holds nine patents in networking and user interface technologies, and is best known for his research in social virtual reality applications. Career highlights include humorist Dave Barry devoting a chapter of Dave Barry in Cyberspace to bringing a comic touch to Anderson's work at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs, where he was a research scientist from 1994 to 2001.
Anderson has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from BYU, and an MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
