Greg Fitts is the Communications Analyst for the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. He is responsible for wired and wireless voice communications within the health care system, including the four primary hospitals and outside clinics. Greg is the project manager for the 300 phone SpectraLink deployment at UNC Hospitals. The project encompasses SpectraLink integration with the hospital's nurse call system as well as providing service to the ER, mobile health providers and various services groups within the facility.
Fitts' 16 years in telecommunications spans higher education, healthcare and the service provider industries. Prior to arriving at UNC, he held analyst, marketing and sales positions for several institutional and private sector companies.
Fitts received a B.A. degree in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
