Patrick Kelly is vice president of silicon engineering at Bandspeed. Patrick brings extensive experience in design infrastructure, communication system architectures, and program and functional management to his position at Bandspeed. He is responsible for all aspects of ASIC development of Bandspeed's wireless LAN chipset, including algorithm development, manufacturing, quality assurance and reliability. Patrick joined Bandspeed in 2001.
Prior to Bandspeed, Patrick joined Level One Communications in 1995 where he focused on the development of mixed signal physical layer devices. When Level One was acquired by Intel in 1999, Patrick was employed as a director of engineering at Intel where he led a team of approximately 100 engineers in the company's networking components division. He also developed Ethernet Physical Layer (PHY) and switching components at Intel.
Patrick has a BSEE from Virginia Tech and a MSEE from the University of Maryland.
