Greg Murphy

Greg Murphy leads AirWave's business operations, backed by years of senior executive management experience in high-technology companies. Murphy joined AirWave from Idealab Silicon Valley, where he had been both an entrepreneur-in-residence from December 1999 and vice president of company development. Previously, Murphy worked for On Command Corporation, the leading provider of in-room entertainment to the worldwide lodging industry. Murphy served as vice president of regional operations, with operational responsibility for systems generating over $200 million in annual revenue. He also served as vice president of product management, guiding the launch of the lodging industry's first digital, interactive platform, providing video-on-demand, in-room Internet access, and guest services. Murphy built his high-tech experience with positions in programming and video operations within On Command. He earned his B.A. from Amherst College and his M.A. from Stanford University.
