Mr. Oren has very wide experience in wireless LAN, voice over IP, networking protocols and embedded systems' programming. Mr. Oren led the software development effort of a freshly written SIP stack for Lucid Voice, an IP convergence company during 1999-2001. Prior to Lucid Voice, Mr. Oren was an R&D software engineer at WaveAccess, a Wireless LAN company. Mr. Oren has joined Extricom's core R&D team in 2002 as a specialist in 802.11 protocols, then assumed the positions of System Architect, and later the Extricom Product Manager. During his tenure at Extricom Mr. Oren was a senior member of the development team and was responsible for numerous customer field trials in both the US and Japan during 2003-2005. Mr. Oren holds a Computer Science and LL.B degrees from the Tel-Aviv University.
